One of the most important elements of this is the hook. The newly developed Koós series is made of thick steel, slightly flattened on the sides, and the point is bent out of the plane of the hook, spear point.

The special, 3-edged spear shape easily penetrates the bony catfish mouth and holds the fish even during a rock-hard pumping, and also provides perfect rigidity to the point of the hook, which makes it impossible for it to bend or break.

Being a hook with the eye, it can also be easily tied with a thick braided line.
