KAMASAKI RUBIN BOLO ROD

The Kamasaki Rubin series has been completely revamped when it comes to spliced and bolognese rods! At first glance, the Kamasaki Rubin Bolo appears modern, sleek, and aesthetic! White inscriptions have been placed on a dark blue base, accompanied by silver and black patterns. The screw-down reel seat is also reinforced with black thread. The distance from the bottom of the reel seat to the end of the rod is 41 cm, making it a perfect fit for the average angler's forearm length. It doesn't protrude excessively to interfere with usage, yet it's not too short to be uncomfortable to handle. In terms of thickness, it measures as follows: 18-20-23 mm for the 4-5-6 meter versions respectively!

The casting weight range of 5-20 grams already indicates that we're dealing with a truly delicate and sensitive rod. This feeling remains even when fully extended! It's perfect for delicate setups, spring tench fishing, canal fishing, or whenever you need to delicately control the float.

Made of IM6 carbon, which besides being very lightweight, also makes the rod quite durable, as it withstands external impacts better than a higher purity carbon material.

Moving up the rod, we can see it's equipped with a truly resilient ring line guide, which is both lightweight and pleasant to the eye. Its SIC inserts will surely not damage even the thinnest monofilament lines!

Recommended line thickness for the fishing rod:

Mainline: 0.14 – 0.20 mm

Leader: 0.12 – 0.18 mm

These diameters ensure that we can make the most out of the rod's characteristics and personality, but it doesn't mean that it's impossible to break the fishing rod this way! Proper line selection doesn't exempt us from careful and expert usage! Therefore, it's crucial to use a landing net with a handle length of at least 3 meters, not to hold the rod at such an angle that its tip overly bends back.

If we decide to "fly" the fish on the hook, we don't pull it close to us and lift it out, but rather bring it closer to the surface while still in the water, and when it calms down, we lift it decisively. This way, the rod receives most of the load when the tip is still at a large angle to the rod itself!

A sliding ring has been placed on the tip, which serves to distribute the load evenly.

For those seeking a lightweight, slim, and soft bolognese rod, don't hesitate to try out the Kamasaki Rubin Bolo.

Plate reel seats are often put to bolognese and telematch rods, as they are able to fix the reel perfecty well to these thin rods. Thanks to their design and reliability they are used in other rod types too. Their usage cannot be simpler. You can fix them to your rod in the blink of an eye.
