The Sailfish is a large pelagic fish of the Istiophoridae family. Known for its impressive speed, this species can swim at speeds of more than 100 km/h. Sailfish have a characteristic large dorsal fin which they use while hunting small fish and cephalopods. The species can be found in nearly all tropical and temperate waters of the world.
