Product description
KAMASAKI RUBIN STRONG POLE ROD
The Kamasaki Rubin Pole's stronger version! But this doesn't mean they just increased the thickness of the rod wall, but it's made from a completely different material!
Unlike the Rubin Pole's IM6 material, the Rubin Strong Pole is made of IM8 carbon, which, despite having nearly identical technical parameters, is stronger and also offers better usability! It reacts faster to strikes, allowing us to control the float more precisely.
The diameters for the 4-5-6 meter versions are 20-23-26 mm respectively! At the bottom, there's a stylish screw-on end cap to seal the rod body. Due to its tube tip, it's suitable for elasticating, but in this case, it's recommended to purchase a separate tip, as the original tip comes with a factory-fitted plastic quick-release clip.
For elasticating, it's suggested to use solid rubber around 1.4 mm in diameter, with a monofilament leader of 0.14/0.16 mm! Without elasticating, similar line thicknesses are recommended, ranging from 0.12-0.16 mm in diameter! With these lines, you can catch quite sizable fish.
When choosing a float, it's better to opt for slightly larger ones to ensure safe navigation, even in windy conditions, or to hold the desired position!
For those who want to try fishing for larger fish with a spliced rod, we can recommend the Kamasaki Rubin Strong Pole! They may not be 10-kilo specimens, but 4-5 kilo fish can be successfully landed with it!
