Lucky Starter Handheld Wireless Fish Finder
Regardless of experience, compact fish finders are popular tools among anglers. They make it easy to map the water areas in front of the fishing spot, revealing the water depth, bottom structure, and fish locations.
The Starter is a compact handheld version among Lucky fish finders, including a wired sonar and basic accessories.
The sonar works based on the propagation of sound waves. The fish finder uses sonar to determine the contour, structure, and depth of the bottom. It emits sound waves and calculates the distance to objects from the return time of the reflected signal. Then, it identifies the position, size, and composition of objects from the returned signal.
Main functions:
Fish detection and depth measurement: The current water depth is displayed at the top right of the screen after turning the device on and submerging the sonar. The depth meter shows if the water is shallower than 0.7 meters or deeper than 45 meters.
Fish indicator: When the radar detects fish, it shows a fish-shaped icon on the screen. It can detect both large and small fish. A column on the right side of the screen shows fish positions. The fish icon updates every 5 seconds.
Weed detection: A weed icon appears if the sonar detects aquatic plants. Two icons indicate medium, and three icons indicate a large area of aquatic vegetation.
Bottom contour: One rock icon means small stones or breaks on the bottom. Two icons indicate significant rocky areas or breaks. Three icons mean large rocks, breaks, or fallen trees on the lakebed.
