The really first Carp Expert line was made 25 years ago. Energofish has celebrated it’s 30th anniversary last December, which means that the Carp Expert Black serie was made in the really early years of the company. That time, the experience, sales data, and market feedback was not not available so in details as nowadays, so the new range created then had to be brave decision. The success of monofilaments, provided strong base for the brand, to develope a full scale carp range covering all needs of professional carp anglers. The story started with those monofilament lines, for today you can find all tackles from the really essential hooks, to the most modern GPS navigated bait boats. Besides common tackles, accessories, the most popular, and well known items fast became the baits.

Returning to lines, the first idea paid off so well, that the Carp Expert Black serie is still available in our range today. Started with this black monofilament, the range was developed rapidly, for today, as we can offer full variety of fishing lines for carp anglers, not only the standard monofilaments, but fluorocarbon, tapered lines, and of course braids. In the last 25 years, since Carp Expert Black was introduced, the technology developed fast, and many new items were created. Besides the new items, people were looking for the standard quality, as they got used to them. Besides the Black, shortly after the UV was introduced, along with Boilie Special Multicolor. These three models are in our range until today, as many people started to use them with satisfaction, and no intention to change them. 

When the time passed, and we had many feedback from anglers, retailers, collected the information and managed to set up the standards for the Carp Expert monofilament range. We kept the 150m version of the old 3 models, packed in individual paper box. For the most of the lines, the core packing unit is the 300m verison. This is coming in transparent PVC box, with back card, and the most important feature is the parallel winding. Thank to the special spooling process, the line is spooled tightly, each threads next to the other. This spooling process provides perfect line lay on the spools, without being twisted. It provides less stress for the line, means more safe and long term storage without damage from the factory to the anglers reels. The third unit for the range is the 1.000m spools in metal cans. It can avoid even the most brutal impact for the lines. Besides the mechanical impacts, the metal can protects the line from it’s biggest enemy, the UV light coming from the sunshine. This sales unit became the favorite of the anglers and retailers immediately once introduced. Not only looking good, but it is safe and economic at the same time. 1.000m spools are packed in inner cartons of 4pcs, which is a convenient quantity even for the smallest shops.

2017 became a milestone in the development of Carp Expert Monofilament range. After many years of testing, and trial productions, we managed to find the way to apply Teflon® coating on monofilaments. A few years before, we had the ready process for braids, but was not easy to find the perfect process for monofilaments. In 2017, we had the breakthrough, and was able to introduce the Carp Expert Method Feeder monofilament with Teflon® coating on it. This coating can provide more advanced casting features, and higher abrasion. When fishing on method feeders, these to key features are key important. Thanks to that unique process, Method Feeder monofilament is one of the most popular line in our key markets. 

As always, anglers need new items, so Carp Expert monofilament range also needs to be improved, develope new models. In 2022 we introduced 3 new items. Carp Expert Crystal, Smoke and Prestige. All of them are popular, were able to keep the reputation of the brand. Smoke was nominated to the Efttex Digital New Product showcase, in 2022, and became the winner in Monofilament category. Non the less, the Angler’s Choice, voted by anglers, online from all over the world, Runner Up became the Smoke line again.

The real allrounder monofilament for modern carp fishing methods. With it’s low stretch ability, this line can be used for classic carp fishing and for feeder too. Low stretch ability helps feeder tips to show even the slightest bites, as the line does not absorb these tiny pulls. The situation is similar by carp fishing, when lines with more elongation can keep your alarms silent. The dark grey color was adjusted to be suitable for both methods, but can be efficiently used for classic ledgering method too. It is providing natural look in all weather condition, and terrains when chasing carp. The Teflon ®  coating is decreasing friction with the guides when casting, this helps longer casts, and less abrasion. Knot resistance is exceptional, any carp or method feeder rigs can be used without limits. 

Carp Expert Fluo Yellow

Perfect fishing line for long carp sessions, great help for night fishing. The line material is based on the successful  Carp Expert UV Monofilament, which has special UV protection, which helps to resist the damage caused by direct sunshine on fishing lines. Thanks to this special coating, you don’t have to worry to keep your rods on the sun for several days when you are having longer fishing trips, the line will keep up without any problem. The monofilament is soft but strong, can carry knots, and has high abrasion resistance. With medium elongation, it help to fight giant carp more efficiently, as it is absorbing the kicks of the fish at long distances.
