Get our boxes faster and cheaper!

Since 2004, Energofish has been buidling a reputation for tackle boxes at competitive prices. And by delivering from the heart of Europe, it is offering a solution to the great challenges of today’s fishing boom – spiralling supply costs and lead times.

At a time when demand for fishing tackle is high and inventory difficult to manage because of erratic shipping patterns, finding a costeffective and reliable supplier is paramount to retailers.

Hungary’s Energofish believes that it has the answer for customers that are looking for tackle boxes of all sizes that can be delivered across Europe at a fraction of the cost and time of

comparable products from Asia.

The company’s Product Manager, Sándor Sujkó says: “The fishing tackle market is always changing – two seasons are never the same. In recent years the industry has been

influenced by the pandemic which has seen many people start fishing or return to the sport. Demand for fishing tackle is at its highest and this has generated huge challenges in the industry with many players running out of goods and having to bear the brunt of longer delivery times.

“Those importers of tackle fromincreases in the cost of freight. Our fishing box sales have risen considerably over the last 18 months as many people take advantage of our inventory which

is readily available from our warehouse in Budapest.

“We can deliver medium to small-size orders within three to five days. Full truck orders – 90 cbm – direct from our Italianfactory takes just seven to ten days.”

Sujkó breaks down the numbers. “The cost of a 20ft container from China is around €7,500. Plastic boxes incur a 9.7% charge under the Taric Code, adding another €1,000 to the cost – taking the overall price to €320 to €330 per cbm. This is without the cost of the goods themselves. Added to that is the fact that delivery of the goods can now take up to 90 days.

“Energofish can – depending on the boxes that you need – deliver to any EU country for €350 to €450 cbm, including the product and transport in eight to ten days. Any size

of orders is welcomed – be it one cbm or 100 cbm. At a time when both price and delivery times are major considerations, retailers should seriously consider the advantages that

Energofish can offer with its tackle boxes.” Energofish first introduced its range of fishing tackle boxes at EFTTEX in London in 2004 – a small line-up in its now popular green-beige colour combination. “They were immediately recognised by the trade and we received many orders after the show,” says Sujkó. “Since then the line-up has grown and established a reputation for durability and quality at a reasonable price.”

Clonking on River Tisza
Published: 2024. December 29. | Source: Viktor Csala | Articles

River Tisza has been a part of my life from the very beginning and still is to this day. As a child, I learned to fish on this river, and its port was an iconic gathering spot at the Szeged riverbank before weekend parties, as well as a great meeting place. My workplace is also along this river: a traditional fish restaurant. It’s one of my favorite fishing waters. I’d like to clarify upfront that I don’t consider myself a big predator-fish angler. I enjoy sitting in my boat and...

Versatility MAX-ed out!

The Carp Expert Double Tip rods have become extremely popular among anglers due to their versatility and the endless possibilities they offer, making them one of the most favored rods in the assortment. I personally experienced this versatility with the redesigned Max2 Double Tip rods, as one day I was fishing for bream with a long line and a 75g feeder, and two days later, on a different section of river, I was battling wild river fish with the same rod, fighting in the dense vegetation in...
