The new Champion family has recently been introduced to the public. On the bags you find Szilárd Szilvási’s name, so we asked the European champ what we should know about these products.

CHAMPION GROUNDBAITS

I use mostly my own groundbaits, believe it or not, even in fishing tournaments! It is the micro granules that make Champion Mix unique. Through a special process I’ve managed to create a groundbait that consists of mostly sinking ingredients, and stays at the bottom. As currents cannot disperse it, feed and fish are concentrated in a small place. In the manufacture, 7 I focused on simplicity and harmony, because these are the most crucial factors in successful fishing.

I’ve designed this groundbait specifically for big carps and fishing tournaments. It is definitely a perfect big fish mix. Using this groundbait and sweetcorn I’ve broken the Hungarian carp record with the capture of a gigantic 42,2 kg fish..

CHAMPION C2 CARP X CARP

This groundbait helped me to become a successful angler. I’ve been using it for 15 years, but it has never disappointed me. It’s ideal for carp, crucian carp and bream fishing. Three kilos of Champion C2 Carp X Carp go with one kilo of pre-soaked TTX. If I go for carps I always put some sweetcorn and maggot in it. On the other hand, if you want to catch crucian carp don’t forget about bloodworms. Finally, in bream fishing, pinkies and bloodworms are your best choice, but instead of TTX it’s better to put some loam in it.

CHAMPION VIP

Following a traditional Italian recipe I’ve made this palatable, yellow groundbait. It has pastonich and crumbs in it with a special panettone aroma. It is the micro granules that make this groundbait unique. Crucian carps are crazy about it, especially if it is mixed with some groundbait for bream.

Full of gingerbread this groundbait is the ultimate bream catcher. It is a pretty spicy mix that can be used in river fishing too.

It is a groundbait full of gingerbread. Its yellow color makes it a perfect choice for warm waters.

A classical groundbait with roasted seeds. Whenever I use it in rivers I always put some soil in it to make it heavier.

After introducing the groundbaits, Szilárd went on to talk about the new Champion pellet family.

Champion Pellet

I have designed Champion Pellet specifically for long pole, match and feeder fishing. The most important ingredients of fishing tournaments and pellet manufacturing are mixed in this pellet family. Special aromas and colors make these pellets extremely attractive to fish. We can use them in every season and in almost every type of water. It can be used as an additive, 8 but you can also put it into groundbaits. The micro 2 mm pellet can be used pre-soaked for molding around a feeder, but you can mold balls of them, too.

Oily aromas make this fishmeal pellet a powerful fish attractor. It’s a salty mix that works intensively in the water. You can use it in all seasons, especially in waters where the fish became cautious.

PINEAPPLE WITH FISHMEAL

I used fishmeal and crayfish powder with some carruba. Its yellowish color, sweet taste and pineapple aroma make it a palatable food source for the carps. It can be a carp catching winner on hot summer days.

Made of gingerbread, molasses, crumbs and chocolate this pellet is unbeatable when it comes to bream fishing. You can use it in itself, but you can also mix it with groundbait.

FLUORO CARP

This fluorescent pellet accounts for a large number of carp catches. It creates a huge cloud so that fish can move calmly in the clean water. An oily, alcoholic aroma also adds to its attractiveness.

C2 CARP X CARP

I use the groundbait version of this pellet in fishing tournaments. My favorite ingredients and sweet aromas are added to it. It is an effective big carp and bream catcher in all fishing situations.
