Over the years, Wizard has built a reputation as an affordable, accessible, yet reliable and dynamically evolving brand. Following the success of last year's debut Edge series, spinning anglers can now find the ProSpin, SensoFeel, Active Spin, and Active Skill product lines in fishing stores.

In today's article, I would like to highlight the SensoFeel rod family, which, despite its moderate price, is a thoroughly professional line. One of its models even accompanied me to my beloved Tisza River at the very end of summer!
The SensoFeel rods are available in two lengths and three casting weight ranges, and in my humble opinion, their price-to-performance ratio is among the best in the spinning rod market. Thanks to their exceptional material—one of the finest high-modulus carbons—these rods are incredibly strong, stiff, and fast. What truly makes them professional-grade rods is their remarkably low weight paired with these outstanding characteristics! For instance, the 2.45-meter rod with a casting weight range of 5-28 grams, considered one of the best for zander fishing with wobblers, weighs just slightly over 130 grams!

This is the piece in the series that best matches my needs and habits. For the 5-7 cm wobblers and medium-sized soft plastics I use most often, I can't think of a more user-friendly and lovable rod under 20,000 forints.

A good rod deserves a good reel. The SensoFeel pairs perfectly with a size 2000 Wizard Skill reel. Weighing just 198 grams, the setup still maintains excellent balance without becoming top-heavy.
The Wizard Skill reels are available in 2000 and 4000 sizes. Thanks to the lightweight design of the metal spool, the smaller model weighs just under 200 grams, while the larger one comes in at exactly 255 grams. Both versions feature 5+1 bearings, and I dare say, for this price, there isn't another reel that offers such buttery-smooth operation, excellent balance, and precise fit and finish!

The Skill reels can be used with braided lines in any of their versions. Of course, this requires taking full advantage of the precise and smooth drag adjustment in all conditions!
