Kamasaki Alpha Bolo – A cheap solution for beginner anglers who want to learn Bolognese fishing.
Kamasaki offers high quality products at a reasonable price. The rod family, which is suitable for floating, is the member of this series.
Bolognese fishing requires practice and routine. You can be successful only if you keep your rig under constant control.
The Kamasaki Alpha is strong enough to tolerate strain caused by the lack of practice at the beginning. It’s made from IM6 carbon, which is fairly flexible and gives the rod a thin blank. The rod is suitable for pursuing bigger bream, crucian and average sized carp and barbel. The longest, 6-meter version, is perfect for river fishing too, but you can use the 4 or 5-meter version on slow rivers or still water.
At the end of the rod you can find a screw butt cap, whose insert protects the sections when putting them together. Besides the SIC inserts, the guide set got a lightened frame and feet, which made weight distribution perfect.
The rod features a plate reel seat, which holds the 1-3000 size reel securely. The blank has a black-blue design with enhanced cosmetics so there can’t be any complaints about the appearance of the rod. Those who like blue, will hold this rod with pleasure.
For still water: Main line: 0,14 mm, hooklink: 0,10-0,12 mm
For rivers: Main line 0,16 mm, hooklink 0,10-0,12 mm (Thicker main lines are needed in snaggy swims, because if you’re snagged up, only the hooklink breaks.) On barbel swims, you can spool up stronger main lines on the reel.
We recommend it for beginner and experiences anglers too who would like to try Bolognese fishing.
Using IM6 carbon, technicians have managed to reduce the weight of quality fishing rods, which equals comfortable and successul fishing. Moreover, these rods are as powerful as equivalent glass composite rods.
Plate reel seats are often put to bolognese and telematch rods, as they are able to fix the reel perfecty well to these thin rods. Thanks to their design and reliability they are used in other rod types too. Their usage cannot be simpler. You can fix them to your rod in the blink of an eye.
In the manufacture of SIC guides, technicians are now able to use thin, light eyes. Thanks to the unique benefits of silicon carbide, these light guides remained durable and resistant to fray.
