Wizard Cat Hercules Catfish Rod

It's worth highlighting the guide set on the rod, which is perhaps an understatement to call it robust. There's no circumstance, no catfish that could harm this. Nevertheless, of course, care must be taken with the rod, as the high-density SIC inserts don't tolerate direct impacts. There are 12 guides on both versions, distributing the load perfectly during the fight.

The most critical part of a catfish fishing rod subjected to heavy loads is always at the joints. The Wizard Cat Hercules features a spigot joint, reinforced with a metal ring on the handle section, preventing longitudinal splitting of the blank. A similar ring is also found at the bottom of the tip section.

It has a stiff action throughout, right to the tip, allowing for decisive hook sets.

An interesting feature is the solid metal ring placed on the hook holder eye, making it easier to hook large catfish hooks.
