Nowadays, we can choose from a lot of hook baits, they differ in taste, colour, size, weight, and shape. Finding the catchiest bait is a problem for all of us. Recognizing this problem, we developed the method basket with a unique solution, named double chance, with longitudinal ribs, which helps with this question. With this special structure, you can even try several baits at the same time under the same conditions.

Have different baits in colour, size, taste, specific weight. It can be mounted with 1 or 2 hooks, but it can also be used with bait placed on one hook and two bait spikes. So, with the double chance basket, by using several baits at the same time, it quickly becomes clear which bait the fish prefer at the given place and time. For filling, we recommend the revolutionary SHELL filling tool, with which we can fill our basket in the fastest and easiest way.

Tips for using the double chance basket

With a single-hook solution, we use it in the traditional way, especially in muddier places, where our basket sinks less, thanks to its larger surface area.

When using two hooks, use different baits, which we place next to each other in the openable universal Shell filling tool and fill our basket. When biting, the fish picks up the bait it likes and pulls it, in which case the other hook slides under the wing, collides with it and the hook is created.

The double chance basket is designed so that, during pumping and landing, the other hook slides to a protected place without disturbing you. For successful fishing, it is important to note which hook and what we used. We recommend that before filling, you note what kind of bait you use for the right and left hooks of the longitudinally ribbed basket. This special method basket will also help you to determine which bait was catchy. If we missed the catch or our fish, the longer extended rig shows which bait was interested.

In places where only one hook is allowed, it can also work by offering other baits next to the middle hook, on a bait spike to the right and left, and putting the catchiest ones on our hook.

It should be assembled as shown in the following picture, tie our hook on fluorocarbon or braided hook line, then string a section of approx. 35 cm through the holes created. Having set the desired length of the rig, tie it to the other end of the line, preferably without a barb. I recommend using Cralusso's plastic bait spike, which can be easily attached to the hook with a small tube cut from the silicone included in the package.

Warning: when using two hooks, pay close attention to the danger of the other free hook getting caught when releasing the hook, even though the other hook has slid into a protected place. It is recommended to use hooks without a barb or with a depressed barb.
